When I was looking for a real estate agent to sell my place in Sunnyvale, I interviewed 4 agents. One lady had a TV commercial on the daily Chinese TV news. I asked her some questions, she never answered anything directly. She also insisted to set the selling price low so people would think it was such a good deal. The other lady insisted that I sign a contract with her so she could show it to her boss. She said we could sign the contract first, if later I decided to use somebody else, she would throw away the contract. Once she said that, I have already decided not to hire her. One of the realtors I interviewed was Julie. She gave me some recommendations about some painting and staging before showing my place. She also seems more sincere. Later I decided to have Julie as my selling agent. She did a good job to stage and fix up my place. The selling price was set reasonably. She got 8 offers after showing my place only one weekend and that was during 2008 when the housing market was still slow. Over the years, Julie handled a few more properties transactions for me and I was satisfied with the results. - Jon W.
