Woodside Heights

Overview

Woodside Heights is a neighborhood where people move in and often stay for life. Residents love the close-knit community, beautiful wooded surroundings, and abundant outdoor activities available nearby—all within minutes of Highways 280 and 84, shopping, and restaurants. The Woodside Heights Homeowners Association manages issues in the neighborhood and plans social events throughout the year, cementing the area’s amiable atmosphere.

The neighborhood was founded in the 1950s as a collection of single-family houses on lots ranging between one and three acres. Many original homes remain, although Woodside Heights has seen its fair share of new construction in recent years. Most newer homes have been built in keeping with the style of the rest of the neighborhood, although a variety of architectures can be found. Its location makes it easy for residents to stay active thanks to nearby parks, hiking paths, and horseback-riding trails. The neighborhood is also located within the prestigious Las Lomitas School District, although buyers should check eligibility depending on the address. Woodside Heights is a desirable place to live for people who love the removed, countryside feel, but don’t want to be too far away from all the action in town.
